Blue = 5

A Dynamic Force

Blue expands its dynamic force through curiosity and imagination.

Like the vast blue sky and deep blue ocean, blue calls for freedom and exploration.

At its best, blue is progressive and dutiful. And at its worst, dramatic and polarizing.

But more than anything, blue stands for trust.

Through its’ calming presence, blue offers us serenity and peace in a turbulent world.

The Throat Chakra

Blue is the color of the fifth chakra or throat chakra. It is the place that governs our ability to express ourselves. It is the source from which we speak our truth.

The Throat Chakra is responsible for all communication.

Blue represents our ability to speak out about our feelings and emotions.

The throat chakra is like a valve through which all the energies of our being flow.

A balanced throat chakra brings forth our truth.

No matter how scary or uncomfortable it may be to do so.

Thrives on Change

Blue is on the move. From powder blue, sky blue, to cobalt blue … there is an inventive and creative force at play.

Though seen as stable and strong, blue is also adaptable.

Blue is a primary color and lies on the color spectrum between green and purple, ready to blend and go with the flow.

Blue is the most common favorite color for both men and women. Perhaps for its perfect balance of worthiness and friendliness.

The Ancient Egyptians were the first culture known to make blue pigment. Egyptian blue (irtyu) symbolized fertility, life, and also protection. Blue represented water and sky and the wisdom of the gods.
